Old Mill Layer Mix is a wholesome blend of New Zealand grown grains and rich protein sources, essential amino acids, minerals and vitamins formulated to provide all the nutrients laying hens need to produce healthy, nutritious eggs.
Old Mill Layer Mix is enriched with selenium, a trace mineral which is often low in New Zealand soils. Selenium plays an important role in metabolism, supporting the immune system and helping to protect body tissues from damage caused by oxidative stress.
To help your hens produce eggs with rich golden yolks, Old Mill Layer Mix contains natural pigments, extracted from marigolds and paprika. These are a rich source of the essential antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin and are a great way to support the well being of your hens and anyone enjoying their eggs.

How much should I feed?
– Feed ad lib from 19 weeks of age or from first egg.
– Feed consumption will vary from 110 to 130g per bird per day depending on the climate and availability of other feeds.
– Ensure clean fresh water is always available.
– Do not feed to non-laying birds.
Ingredients
All Old Mill Feeds are made with non- GE grains and protein meals.
Wheat, barley, oats, maize, grain by-products, canola meal, peas, linseed meal, canola oil, limestone, oyster shell grit, dicalcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, salt, amino acids, enzymes, natural pigments, vitamins and trace minerals.
